Enable and disable your USB port

you can Enable and disable your USB port.Don't need any program.you can
use it by using windows.follow these steps.

Step 1: Press windows key +R.run box will appear

Step 2: Type "regedit " in RUN box and press enter.

Step 3: Go to this location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\
             CurrentControlSet \Services\UsbStor

Step 4: In right panel you can see some file.select start and go to File
            and select Export.now you can save your file any location (your like)
            Give the file name as Enable USB

Step 5: Now double click start file.change your value as 4 and click Ok

Step6: After click ok.select start and  go to File and select Export.
            Save it like step 4. Save this file name as Disable USB

Step 7: Done.Restart your computer.

If you want to disable USB port, double click Disable USB what
we save before.If you want to Enable USB double click Enable USB.

How to install ubuntu from USB pen drive

Step 1: You have go to ubuntu homepage and  download  ubuntu  ISO

Step 2: Before doing this, format your pen drive,when you format it
            please select FAT32 file format

Step 3: Now you have to download small software.Click below to
             download it
                  Unetbootin download

Step 4: Open this software.

Step 5: First you have to select the distribution  as  Ubuntu

Step6:  Select the version This version is 10.4.so it select as 10.04_Live

Step 7: Select the disk image and Select the location of Ubuntu image file

Step 8: Select the type as USB drive and Select the Drive name

Step 9: Now click OK. It will take approximately 10 minute.

Step 10: After finish it.reboot your computer.

Step 11: When the windows load you can see image was
               extract in to USB drive.

Now you can setup your  bios and boot your pen drive.
If you don't know how to setup your bios follow these

Step 1: Restart your computer

Step 2: Press DEL or F2 key before booting
             your computer

Step 3: Go to Boot Configuration tab and go to Boot device priority

Step 4: Select your first boot device as USB pen dive or USB Flash drive.


Step :5  Press F10 for Save it and restart your computer.

Convert USB flash drive to Bootable drive

You can convert your USB flash drive to bootable disk.You can use it for windows installation.

 Step1:  Insert your Vista windows installation DVD, go to boot folder and
             copy "bootsect exe" to computer's  C: folder
            
Step 2: Insert your USB flash drive in to USB slot.go to my computer and
            right click on flash drive and select "Format"
            
Step 3: Select NTFS file format and format the flash drive

Step 4: Type "cmd" in  start menu search box.Right click on "cmd" icon and
             select "Run as administrator

Step 5: Type "diskpart in command prompt

Step 6: Type  "list volume" and press Enter. USB drive will listed as
             removable media.

Step 7: Type "select 123" and press Enter."replace"123" with the actual
            volume number note in step6

Step 8: Type "active" and press Enter.Type "exit" and press Enter

Step 9: Type "cd C:\"  The command prompt display "C:\>_"after it is
             back in the C: folder

Step 10: Type "bootsect.exe /nt60 ABC:" and press Enter."Enter.
             " Replace "ABC" with the associated letter noted in Step 6.
               after this completed, your flash drive fully bootable drive.
