Windows Key secrets

These shortcuts helps you to control windows easily.


ALT + Tab = Switch between windows

ALT + ESC = Switch between running applications

ALT + F4 = Quit active application or close current window

ALT, Space, X = Maximize window

Windows key + Break = System properties

Windows key + D = Hide/Display all windows

Windows key + F = Search

Windows key + F1 = Open Windows Help

Windows key + Tab =  Cycle through the Taskbar buttons

Windows key  + R = Run menu

CTRL + C = copy

CTRL + X = cut

CTRL + V = paste

CTRL + Z = Undo

CTRL + ESC = Open Program Menu

CTRL + F4 = lose active document or group windows

CTRL + A = Select all
