How to show hidden files and not working folders

Hidden Files and Folders not working?.. this happened from ome virus attack after
which the Windows registry was not being updated properly.there have
many methods lets follow it.

1. method

Step 1: Cilck "start > run  and type "regedit". and click ok

Step 2: Go to this location. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE
           \Microsoft\Windows   \CurrentVersion\Explorer\
           Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

Step 3: Look at the “CheckedValue” key.This should be a DWORD key.
           If it isn’t, delete the key.

Step 4:  Create a new key called “CheckedValue” as a DWORD with a value of 1

Step 5: Now you can see "hidden file & folders " check box


2. Method

Step 1: Go to "regedit" as i told before.

Step 2: Go to this location HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
           Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Step 3: In right pane,Double click hidden and change the value to 1.


Step 4: Now you can see "hidden file & folders " check box

3. Method

If none of the above methods not work, download this software.you can
remove the virus.When you use this program please restore your Windows 
settings and your show hidden files and folders will be set to default.
